Arkansas Appreciation Thread

With the season drawing nearer and A&M being the first game as South Carolina's new permanent west opponent, I on behalf of South Carolina would like to extend a solemn goodbye to Arkansas, the former permanent west opponent. It has been a good run as well as an honor and a priviledge to play an annual series with our 1992 expansion brothers. The nostalgia overwhelms me thinking back over the last 22 seasons. Goodnight sweet prince. May the series always exist in our hearts and may the flagship university of the SEC forever sail on without us (as a permanent east oppenent). Sooie.

I was at our game in Columbia back in 2006. Accidentally got some boiled peanuts and they were gross. It was really cold that night.

I don't care if this is a serious thread or a troll thread I'm going to be serious for a second. I've never held an ounce of animosity toward the University of South Carolina and still don't. Our games were normally fun to watch but never felt like they were making or breaking a season. I won't necessarily miss the match up but I'm not happy to see it go either. South Carolina might have one of the most underrated fanbases in my opinion, or I may not have paid attention to the praise. Whether you guys are winning 10-11games a year or winning 2-3 you pack that stadium every single game and that is badass to me.

I'm actually going to miss playing Arkansas. I hated losing to them but I like the idea that we came into the conference the same time and played them every year.

I'll miss the Carolina game. Apart from the past two years when our program got napalmed, South Carolina was generally one we could count as a W about 75% of the time.
I'll miss that.
