Best chance to reach 1,000 yards:

•Amari Cooper, Alabama
•Sammie Coates, Auburn
•Jameon Lewis, Mississippi State

Should come close:

•Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss
•Ricky Seals-Jones, Texas A&M
•Duke Williams, Auburn
•Shaq Roland, South Carolina

Too tough a feat?

•Marquez North, Tennessee
•Chris Conley, Georgia
•Michael Bennett, Georgia
•James Blue, Kentucky

FYI this is not my rankings

Only two 900 + yard receivers returning from last year so most likely to break through the 1k ceiling.

•Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss

Marquez North, Tennessee

also should break the 1k ceiling

Lol at A&M not having a 1000 yard receiver in Sumlins offense...

We will have at LEAST 1 if not 2.

I'd switch Treadwell and Coates.

I think Sammie will have a great year, but with him and Duke, it will be hard for either to reach 1000. Where their numbers will come is in TD's i believe.

Speedy is in his own tier. Wouldn't be a fair comparison.

Treadwell should be moved up one. I would include RSJ but I think that they will be more run oriented this year as opposed to the two previous.

We will have a 1000 yard receiver just because of the offense we play. Derel Walker had like 800 something yards last year. So that's probably not the best way to tier them

Wasn't Johnny Manziel the only QB not to throw for at least 5,000 yards in a Sumlin offense?

We probably will be, but id still be surprised if we don't have a 1000 yard receiver. We will still probably throw at least 45% of the time

Crootin' stars say you are right. Literally everything else says you're wrong.

Impossible. The only reason Sumlin has a job is because of JFF.

We don't have a player by that name.

It's so refreshing how in every thread about the best players in the SEC, there is an internal TAMU exchange about some kid nobody outside of College Station expects to make a significant impact.

UGA was the best at this, now TAMU is.

Has nothing to do with stars. It has to do with Treadwell being really the sole go to target at receiver for Ole Miss, where Sammie is going to split receptions between Duke at a minimum. There simply isn't enough yards to go around, which is why I don't think he gets to 1000
