You would think that after 20+ years one of the other teams (4 total now) would have made some noise on a consistent basis. Even through some probation years. I guess its just up to us three to duke it out as long as an SEC West remains. Even Missouri got an SEC East Crown last year after only 2 years on that side of the division.

Texas A&M recruits up there with those teams. I would think they should be mentioned.

There will be the ocassional season where a team not form teh Big 3 get in...history has shown that. But the West is a three team race annually.

Probably not. The fortunes of programs change. Florida is a good example of that

Arkansas has won the west 3 times and MSU once.

If the SEC west is "always" lsu/bama/au, then the east is "always" UGA/uf/ut as well.

Even moreso.

The East has been won 20 out of 22 times by the same three schools.

looks like the big 6 runs things, not surprising. However, UT is on the snide and might not get up.

Because they recruit well, have a good coach and have been competitive since they came into the SEC West.

What is their record against all of the above mentioned teams since coming into the SEC West?

I know LSU has gotten them every year. (0-2)
They beat Alabama once (1-1)
They beat Auburn once (1-1)

Of course they still need to win an SEC Championship to be considered a contender, but I guarantee they are less of an aberration than Missouri.

Texas A&M recruits really well. Like top 5-10 in the country well. That should pay off in the future.

Replace LSU with A&M.
LSU can't even crack the top 10 in recruiting and is in 6th place in the SEC.
Their trajectory is going nowhere but down.

Could happen. LSU is beyond maxed out in success at this point. You just can't expect much more from them. Alabama is too, but Alabama is winning championships.

A&M and Auburn still have room to grow.

Yet LSU has beaten Texas A&M every year since A&M has come into the SEC.

Coach Miles plays ball control. His teams will continue to be strong on Defense and have pounding/mauling running teams. As long as he is at LSU we will be in contention.
