Is there any chance Herschel Walker could make an NFL team today?

The guy is 52 years old but he's bigger and in better shape than a lot of NFL players.

This is fricking terrifying.

He needs to do some Arnold presses.

But, seriously,

I say no.

What position would he play?

He wasn't cutting it as a RB during the last part of his career. No reason to think he could cut it now at age 52.

Lets say if he doesn't play running back, he plays safety.

he obviously looks in shape, but does he still have the speed/power he did 30 years ago? can his body hold up?

he looks like he could still play, but I doubt he actually could

I think he could make the team but I don't think his body could handle being an every down back.

He couldn't make it as a 3rd down back in 1997. I hope this wasn't a serious question.

He is in great shape, but there is no way he'd make any NFL team.

Herschel will always be in Bo Jackson's shadow...poor guy

ETA: Dont think he would make the 53 man roster, but wouldnt be surprised if he made scout team

God no. He would get abused by scout team receivers out there.

He is one of the greatest athletes of all time but I doubt it. If he did make a roster he would likely only contribute on special teams.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm not asking if he would start. Just if he would make the roster.
