It's been nearly 5 years since he was kicked out of UT.

The #Colts signed talented WR Nu'Keese Richardson, who attended 3 colleges and was charged with armed robbery while at Tennessee.

He's the worst kind of fan there is. Former Vol fan who turned against his team during bad times.

I don't think Rob's ever been a Vol fan. I think he's a Vandy fan or perhaps a fan of some other team but lives in TN somewhere. He has enough bits of knowledge but they're all mixed up which is what you expect from someone who gets some local news on Tennessee football but doesn't get his facts straight and hates Tennessee. My money is a Vandy fan in disguise but really anyone in TN or within TN's media reach who follows another team that hates us could explain Rob. But I'm convinced he's no jilted fan.

At first I thought he was a Tennessee fan from another website that was just trolling and trying to rile up all the UT fans on here.

He's too incoherent to be a good troll against UT fans. Half the time he winds up getting the rant to defend Tennessee because he's so far out there.

Well that was short lived. I was surprised when they signed him, TBH, (I don't know if y'all ever bothered looking him up but I got curious a year or two ago and it's been a long very strange trip for Nu'Keese) but dang this has got to be a record:
And really just that tidbit doesn't cover the half of it from what I recall. Nu'Keese has been and out of everywhere and just plain erratic. Such a shame as I always thought he had the talent *if* he could ever get his head together but if he can't even get his head together for this when so many have tried and tried to help because of his talent, I'm afraid his on the path of to continue hard, pain, and troubled life to say the least.
And on the guy they just signed to take his spot:
Hopefully, Nu'Keese gets one more shot and takes advantage. I just can't see anything good for him if he doesn't get something going in football soon - a team that can somehow reach him even though I know it's likely wayyyy to late for that.

The official release on Richardson:
“Richardson was signed by the Colts as a free agent on August 3, 2014. He played for the University of Pikeville in 2013, where he recorded 39 receptions for 588 yards and three touchdowns in nine games. In 2009, Richardson played in nine games for the University of Tennessee and caught eight passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.”
-----------
Richardson had an incredibly long way to go to compete at the NFL level. Without doing much to standout in Tennessee or Pikeville, he was simply signed as a project on the outside. He hardly got to the facility (signed on August 3) before being waived on Tuesday.
And on the guy they just signed to take his spot:
quote:
On Tuesday, the team announced the signing of former Eagles outside linebacker Phillip Hunt and the waiving of just-signed receiver Nu’Keese Richardson. Per the team’s official website on Hunt:
“Hunt, 6-1, 254 pounds, played in 22 career games with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011-12, recording 15 tackles (14 solo) and 3.0 sacks. He spent the 2013 season on Injured Reserve after suffering an injury in the preseason. Prior to signing with the Eagles, Hunt spent two years (2009-2010) in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, where he totaled 64 tackles, 19.0 sacks and one fumble recovery. In 2010, he led the CFL with 16.0 sacks for the
year.”
-----------------
Phillip Hunt’s addition to the team is a bit of a head-scratcher, considering the Colts are loaded at the outside linebacker position. However, with a four-game suspension on Robert Mathis, Indy can’t be too careful with OLB depth. While Hunt never made a big impact in the NFL, he had quite the contribution in the CFL with the Blue Bombers. Injuries derailed him, but he’s worth a preseason shot. He is, however, a long shot from making the roster.
Hopefully, Nu'Keese gets one more shot and takes advantage. I just can't see anything good for him if he doesn't get something going in football soon - a team that can somehow reach him even though I know it's likely wayyyy to late for that.
