Things are coming together for the offense and the young guys on D are trying to get ready for the first game.

The return of a nation-leading 85 percent of lettermen however puts the SEC’s most veteran squad into position as a contender.

Williams said. “We want to go higher than 11-2 this year, but we just have to keep working and getting better every day.”

Spurrier failed to mention Saban or Bama again in this latest article.

The team is responding after he jerked them off.

We're hoping so!

I mean, they'll at least win more games than LSU (like last year) but alas, that isn't worth a shite.

What coach would say otherwise? A coach is like a politician--never honest in front of media.

Damn the rant is chippy as hell now that practice is here. CockRocket, don't let em slow your roll. SC has every reason to be proud of their recent success. That said, I do wonder about the impact of losing Clowney and Shaw. Those two make up for a hell of a lot on both sides of the ball.

Nah, we don't have to worry about Ole Miss here in the east.

Sakerlina fans, I know y'all's offense is going to be good. Y'all's OL is talented and experienced. Mike Davis is an above-average SEC RB. Dylan Thompson is a great deep ball thrower and Shaq Roland should have a breakout season.

How about y'all's defense? How many returning starters on that unit? I know nothing of y'all's defense for 2014.

I wonder if Carolina's OL is as good as A&M's?

Better. 113 starts coming back. A.J. Can is projected to be a first rounder and Brandon Shell will get taken before the 3rd round.

I'm more worried about losing Ellington ... that kid was money. He made so many big catches for us these past few years I lost count.

I'd been hearing about this chemistry thing for some time over the summer though ... that this group, being starless, was working-out like mad-men on a mission and very focused.

I just hope the chemistry thing is not overplayed. They're still going to need to get after it and play ball and make good things happen.

We've got some talent and depth - we'll have to see how they react under fire.
