No clue yet, and ftr I was hoping you'd see this thread.
I literally just looked at my SO and said "I wanna go to Oregon this fall".
I'd want to check out Portland, as it's the major city, but I really want to see some outdoor shite like you constantly see on r/earthporn. I'm a big camper/kayak/hiking type guy.

Lots of good outdoor stuff outside of Bend. Good rafting, camping, hiking or even mountain climbing.
Off the beaten path, but Joseph/Enterprise area in the N.E. corner is awesome. But, you can see similar scenery West of Bend One advantage of Bend is that it's high desert and you're guaranteed good weather. It;s just a short hop to the mountains.

In Portland the Kennedy School theater was fun. Good hiking all around. Its also great if you are a simpsons nerd. simpsons map The coast is really nice, but the beaches are cold.

Love the Oregon coast. Cannon Beach, etc. Some don't care for Seaside, but I had a damn good time there.

Same here. Have been twice, stayed once at Cannon Beach and another time in Seaside. Liked them both, though I preferred Cannon.
