Enjoy. I usually do the first weekend but skipped it this year. Glad I did. Heat index was 105. Mid-week weather was incredible. I don't remember it being like this for this many days in row in the 38 or so that I have been to.

One of the more overrated things in life. Not bad , but not great. Haven't been in a few years.

Only to outsiders. I married into it and been going for many years but I don't get into it the way my family does. They stay the whole week and it's like a family reunion/high school reunion every year. If I didn't have a cabin, I assure you I wouldn't come within 10 miles of the place. They start planning for the next Fair as soon as this one is over. My family is not unique. Six hundred other families (Cabin owners) feel the same way.

I agree to that. If you don't have a cabin, it sucks. I lived 30 miles away and the drive was miserable. Hated sleeping in vehicles too if we couldn't drive back. Guess I'm just too old for that shite now

Also, the entertainment has sucked in recent years too.

This

I don't have a cabin... So I don't.

I've been once and it was fun but when you're in college, single and swimming in booze everything is fun... Plus I grew up 3 hours north of Philadelphia.

People either love it or hate it. I am ok with that.
