MTV should rename itself.

Music TeleVision... Yea fukin right. Lol
I think MTV is now a disgrace to America.
Who can come up with something more suitable for the network?
Maybe:
STN- Shitty Teenage Network
Or
DWS- Dumbass Whore Station
Or
SSA- Shitty Side of America
Or
JCC- Just change Channel
Or
WSA- We Suck arse
Those are just some names off the top of my head, that would be more suitable than "MTV".

I have a word I really like using -- it's called "platitude". In its classic sense, it means a statement that's cliche and lost all meaning.
I like to use it to say that the premise is already so easily understood that it's not worth mentioning...

You're right, but It's not just that they don't play music anymore, it's the fact that the majority of their shows are garbage that the American youth buys into. It's gotta go.

I usually do. The only show I watch on MTV is ridiculousness, when nothing else is on. I don't watch anything I see on their commercials.

Ridiculousness is one of MTV's worst shows. It's just a cheap ripoff of Tosh.0, with an even douchier unfunny forgettable host, an ugly bitch with the most annoying laugh I've ever heard, and some random interchangeable black dudes who still dress like they're 18. How anyone can like that shows is beyond me.
I do like Guy and Girl Code somewhat, but that show is stupid too. MTV plain sucks, and I don't know anyone who still watches it.

VH1 Classics ... when I'm liquored-up and trying to get the Mrs in a frisky mood. Get her on the couch drinking gin and tonics and watching VH1 Classics when they are playing 80s stuff and it's like slipping her a roofy.
She's much younger than I ... me personally, I'm into the 60s and 70s stuff, sans the bullshite disco.
