Looks like the Georgia Dome and Jerry World non-conference match-ups to open the season aren't enough for the money-grabbers anymore. Now, it looks like the new attention-grabbing gimmick trend is to look for non-traditional places to play these opening weekend games........

Examples: Tennessee will play VA Tech at Nascar track Bristol MOtor Speedway........LSU and Wisconsin will play at Lambeau Field..........Penn State and Central Florida playing in Ireland...........etc.

I take this as a bad sign as to where college football is headed, but Whatever.

Does this type of thing do anything for you?

Is there any non-traditional place you'd like to see UGA play one day?

Redneck Woodstock

I don't mind the games in the GA Dome or in Dallas, but I would like to limit the neutral site games

Yes.

In a stadium constructed directly straddling the GA/FL state line. Our fans sit in Georgia and their fans sit in Florida. You could still have it in the far east so people are still just a few miles from the beach, st. simons, Jekyll, etc. Put it somewhere near I95 I suppose.

That Bristol idea is stupid too. idk where the graphic is but the field is gonna be far as shite for a majority of the fans. The sightlines are gonna be miserable.

But, hey, they'll have the largest attendance in a football game which I guess is the gimmick they are aiming for. Personally if UGA did that I'd be pissed and I wouldn't waste a dollar. That shite would be impossible to see and I can barely see shite now anyway.

Idea for when the Play-off Zombies finally achieve their dream of getting a 16-Team college football play-off................

-Hold the first round of zombie play-offs at Talladega Superspeedway! You could easily build 8 football stadiums inside the infield.

-Then..........you could play all 8 games SIMULTANEOUSLY!!!! (Tickets would cost $10,000 dollars a piece and you get a souvenir flat-bill!)

-Yes! It would be like a gigantic outdoor Buffalo WIld WIngs set-up!.........

How bout this..

The setting is Talladega Superspeedway. One one side of the infield is bama/auburn. On the other end is uga/tech. In the middle, you have both a kid rock concert and a WWE money in the bank ladder match. You also have a race going on at the same time.

Ticket prices would be astronomical.

How wide are Cruise Ships?

Mike Slive needs to build a football field on top of one so the SEC Championship Game can be played at sea..... near a different Caribbean island every year!!!................Must keep up with the arms race!!! NEvermind that you're killing the game in the process!!!!!!!

LSU/Wisc in Lambeau is a good idea actually. I think it would be cool to see Wisconsin host a game at Lambeau once every 4-5 years. It would have to be a big name opponent to make it work.

In general I'm against the neutral site games. They feel sterile and lack the intensity of being on campus. I'd much rather do a home and home with Clemson/UNC/Texas/etc. on the respective campuses instead of some NFL stadium.

And we can all bring our guns and settle this shite once and for all.

Recently we were in talks with a home and home with Army and we would have played the game there at Yankee Stadium. I would have loved that game.

Wait... really? That is actually pretty fricking awesome. You have a link on that?

Also, I'll say this about the Ireland game. I wouldn't want it but they have at least some precedent with that with the games in Mexico and Cuba way back when.

I don't know if there was any public knowledge of this but I will see if I can find anything.
