Did we not want him? Or did he not want us? Seems like he took his time signing to make sure he was making the right choice.

I wanted him because he's a great athlete with great great size. Not sure he even qualifies though? academically...

Short term it won't hurt us. He missed all of summer workouts and was probably headed for a redshirt. Long term I think he could have been really good with some offensive help.

We had to make room. We are still one over the scholarship limit.

This isn't the way anyone wanted to get us toward the limit though. I don't like how this turned out but oh well

I don't follow basketball 'cruiting, at all, but people who do were stoked when we got Logwood.......so I don't see how this is a good thing for us.

We had to clear one spot. This was apparently it. Not a big deal and won't hurt our graduation rate the way cutting a current player would.

Eta: apparently one more has been told they won't be back, but it hasn't been publicly announced.

He was out top recruit and a bright talent, so I am very disappointed. But Pearl didnt recruit him so I kind of understand. Why wouldnt you want to play for Pearl is my question. Or maybe Pearl didnt trust Barbee recruiting.

With Denson gone we needed a new slasher. He was it.

I wonder if this has as much to do with eligibility concerns. I don't see why we would cut a kid on our end in this situation

Someone doesn't follow AU basketball.

Eta to clarify: Ross-Miller fills Denson's void this year. As far as Logwood was considered, he would've played the 3 while Denson played the 2 and rarely the 1. Both get in the lane to score but they do so in a different way. I wouldn't compare them

It sucks that he won't be a part of the team. He is raw offensively but has NBA size and athleticism. There is one silver lining though.

We are going to be tight with our APR for the next 2 years and this most certainly helps.

Pearl has a heat history of graduating players, but we are going to get tint on APR. Would suck tofinally be good in basketball only to be disqualified for the post season.
