was close I think the manager who chose the other candidate (interviewed 10 people and it came down to me and this other candidate) has gotten enough "What were you thinking?" follow-up calls once everyone heard he chose the other candidate
I'm gonna try to get a spot now at a larger level 3 store that would be a fairly significant pay raise (and actually the one I originally applied for)
We did both officially sign papers today though so 45 days from now that will be a load off my shoulders
