Pelini is such a pussy. A bunch of stuff came out about him trashing Vince Marrow on the recruiting trail when he came to UK. Then he really got shitty with Braylon Heard when he put in his transfer to UK.

He's just mad because the Nebraska bagmen have shut him out and he can't get all that speed from Southern Cal and Florida like Tom did in the 90's. I mean what exceptionally talented 18 year old from So Cal or Florida wouldn't want to move to Nebraska.

Nebraska was built on players in Osborne's "500 mile radius". They also developed walkon Nebraska kids by the dozens. I think more than any other program, Nebraska suffered greatly from the changing scholarship dynamic imposed by the NCAA in the early 1990s. Once Osborne retired, and Solich couldn't sustain what inherited, there was a massive disconnect. Callahan just shattered it when he focused on states out of the region and killed the walkon program.

A - It's a total bitch move.
B - It admits that you suck at recruiting. You are f'n Nebraska for goodness sake.
C - It paints the "holier than thou" bullseye on his forehead. He better hope they aren't cheating(Of course they are, just not very good) because he just opened season on everyone ratting on his arse.
How is that guy still employed? No reason Nebraska shouldn't be formidable. College football is better when they are. Yeah, I know, "demographics...no one wants to go there anymore...etc"... That's what everyone said about Bama in 06 too...
