Just to show you all that I am equal opportunity if a full broadcast of an Alabama loss is available to me.

Here is the 1993 SEC Championship Game, played in what seemed to be a driving rain storm in Birmingham, where the Florida Gators captured its second "official" SEC title and their first SEC Championship Game win.

Yep, you better put "official" in quotes. Erryone knows who the big dogs were that year.

Obviously you don't know 1980s SEC history as well as the Bama OP...he isn't referring to 1993 season, he is pointing out 1984-85 Gators who had their first SEC title stripped because of NCAA infractions. Actually...1993 should have been our third SEC title because we had beaten Bama during regular season (Ole HBCs first season)and finished first...but because of one infraction that was never proved...UF was denied SEC title & bowl game in 1990.

Oh....btw UF took AU behind the woodshed in 1990 48-7 in the Swamp and I loved every second of it.

See what we have to deal with?

AU people always trying to make things about them.

This is why it is so hard for us to have nice things in Alabama.

I got you, but I was looking at it from the point that AU was without question the best SEC team in 1993, but due to our own infractions, we were denied that title.

No you weren't. We played like shite vs Auburn and you won by 3. If you guys had played like shite, we would have beaten you by 30. Same for 1994. If not for these two 3 point wins, Auburn would have lost 12 in a row to Florida from 1990 to 2000.

It is not without question. UF-AU was tied at 35 with just over 1 minute to go in Auburn. That was a pretty good UF team, I think they would have definitely had the edge at a neutral site.

And had they not been on probation they would have had to play Florida again.

Auburn was defacto SEC Champs in 93 after beating both Alabama and Florida in the regular season.
