Dabo Swinney: The Talent Level Between the SEC and ACC is Splitting Hairs

Let's break it down between first day draft and second day. Then we'll talk. ACC has some great talent though

He MAY, and I emphasize May, have a case in terms of talent, but the reason the SEC is heads and shoulders better than the ACC is coaching. MUCH BETTER coaching, especially Head Coaches, in the SEC.

It's not splitting hairs, but there's a good bit of talent in the ACC, especially at FSU, Miami, and Clemson. UNC, VT, UVA, and GT have also produced a good bit of players over the past 10 or so years.

The coaching in the ACC is much worse on average, though.

At the top (skill positions, high draft picks, etc.)? Maybe.
Overall? No, the Pac is closer but still not there.

Outside of FSU and Clemson?

I really think of this as 23-11 because Louisville wasn't in the ACC last year.
