LSU unique problems

1. Improve traffic to and from the stadium.

2. Parking garage. I think there is no excuse to not have one given the size of the games and the amount of money involved.

Other problems include frequent weak home schedule which is a pretty universal issue. This is worsened at LSU given our frequency of scheduling this opening game neutral sites.

Why does LSU need a parking garage? There's more parking available around the campus than most schools in the league.

Beer sales

And from my personal wish list, a live elephant mascot on field.

Not really a 'per-school' opinion, but...

go to pro-style clock (keep running after first downs).

will decrease game time

(I'm of the opinion that college games take way too long...one of the reasons less people come these days or leave early)

There was before LSU started building buildings and roping off huge swaths of open ground that used to be free parking. LSU also started charging exorbitant prices just to park on campus, meaning thousands of cars were now displaced. The huge lots out by the river now have rec fields and construction sites on them. The huge fields near Gourrier are half roped off.

LSU has a huge traffic and parking crisis that is much of their own doing.

Improving public transportation will help more than a parking garage.

The buses to and from downtown have been very successful and they could do those all over the city.

I will add to improve bathrooms in the stadium, add 1,000 more garbage cans outside the stadium, and add more porter potties outside the stadium in every direction.

We need a garage because it is a multimillion dollar product (the money should be there) and 100,000 people go to the event. Screw walking a mile after parking.

Building a parking garage wont lower those parking prices.

Auburn has started blocking off many areas that were once free parking and now charge $30, including parking on the street. They are also blocking off many parking areas in general for no apparent reason, other than the faux safety concerns

Sound System

Better run concessions

Better Concessions

Free Wi-FI and better cell coverage

Traffic is what it is, I don't think there is a whole lot that can be done about it.

For Alabama:

- Show some freaking updated scores/stats on the ribbon boards/jumbotrons. Its like you are in a blackhole on gameday and it doesn't seem to be a problem for other schools. Would love for them to do what UGA does and show broadcasts from other games during timeouts.

- The MDB needs to do a lot of improving.

- Ban anyone wearing Alabama items purchased from Wal-Mart

Easier solution: You can only park on campus if you have a ticket.

Gets rid of all the people who only come to party and take up huge swaths of the parking available so they can set up their sound systems to play their shitty music and trash the campus.

I don't care about the traffic stuff, but for LSU there are still a few things that could improve the gameday experience:

1. Beer Sales
2. Mens bathrooms - Add some
3. Do a better job giving scores/highlights from around the league. I want to know what other SEC teams are doing while we play.
