You're always as happy as you think you are.

I think all people go through ups and downs. Happiness really is perspective, and as long as you recognize that you're not Sleeping Tiger, I think your life will be put into a light where even the darkest of magmas can't penetrate.

Whenever I think I am unhappy, I just go look at People of walmart.com. I get feeling better pretty fast for some reason.

Pretty happy here. If I could get my financial situation to a slightly better position, I would be very happy. That added stress pulls me down from happiness a little too often currently.

I'm happy every damn day.

I have healthy kids, a steady job, good friends, parents who I can't stand but love to death, and a wife who still sleeps with my lousy rear.

The world is too majestic and life is to short to spend very much of life unhappy.

I get to go home every night.
I have a house with A/C, power, clean running water, and internet.
I have a pregnant wife who isn't sleeping around and loves me very much.
I have plenty of food to eat and several entertainments to spend my leisure time on.
I am healthy.

If I wasn't happy with that, I'd probably have had my expectations set too high by a media culture that says I should only be happy if I'm famous or rich.

The Information Age makes some people unhappy because there's so very much to absorb. Not me. I love it, especially the science.

I've developed an effective filter so that not much junk gets through. I'm a happy camper.

i think social media does it as well. people put all these awesome pictures and experiences up and the rest of society is like, "man, my life isn't that awesome."

also people use it to bitch about stuff and then people commiserate and create cognitive dissonance.

i unfriend sad people.
