My being the source doesn't change the fact that this breed - as with MANY pure bred dogs - is suffering. Just so happens that the English bulldog is one of the most inbred breeds in the AKC. Siler isn't helping things, either.

Bulldogs are beloved and people pay thousands for the privilege of owning one. 
Yellow jackets are universally despised and people happily shell out a couple of bucks for a can of yellow jacket death spray to be rid of the pests.
Plus, yellow jackets attack with their arse. Now I am aware that most gt fans enjoy leading with their arse in their personal lives (even when they are guests on other team's message boards), but choosing something like that as a mascot for your entire program is just wrong.

The English Bulldog has health problems. There is no denying it. I've seen other discussions on going to other types of bulldogs but it's not going anywhere. It's a beautiful puppy.
