Mike Waddell tweeted something to this effect earlier today. No temps in the SEZ upper deck this year.

Of course the overflow temporary bleacher will not be needed this season.
Attendance is going to rough.
If the season does not go well and we've only got 2 wins going into the UAB game that stadium will be sparse.

I'm a current student and have a couple of friends in the Band that have gotten word on what this is going to look like.
It's supposed to be called the "Party Deck" and create a fun atmosphere for students to go crazy at the games.
Maybe to appeal to the people who are too cool to go to the games? I dunno. If you're looking for me, you'll find me on the front row.

The best change they could make for student attendance would be to have a ticket pull the Monday or Tuesday before the game. The avg student doesn't want to stand in line all day on gameday.
Plus, if you weren't standing in line, you could tailgate.

I say that since we know we're in for another rough year most likely we should dress as opposing fans and do stupid dances in hopes of being caught by the camera. That way we'll have some ammo for the rant, because 3 bad seasons in a row is making it hard to keep the wind in those sails. We'll make our own wind, because you do what you have to do.
