Would everyone be happy with this schedule plan?

Permanent rivals would be set only if both schools agreed.
This way we could keep
Bama - UT
AU - UGA
at 6-1-1
the rest of you can rotate accordingly at 6-0-2.
That is until we get to a nine game ( or even ten game) schedule.

But then we lose our scheduling advantage, WTF is wrong with you?!

I want either 9 games or no permanents. Not being able to go back to Athens for however long it is with the current setup gives me sads

No, because Arky/Mizzou, OM/Vandy, & MSU/UK want to keep theirs as well.
ETA: So basically you would have LSU, UF, TAMU, & USCe all playing each other more, while everyone else plays the same number of time that they do today.

Not even close.
LSU isn't concerned with their schedule, they are concerned with OURS, and they consider Tennessee a weak opponent. Spurrier will bitch about anything and everything. auburn can play Kentucky and Vandy every year and still convince themselves they have the toughest schedule, and Florida could play all 13 of the other teams twice and still get criticized for "not playing any nonconference games outside the state of Florida."
You don't get anywhere trying to please people. You make it as fair as possible and go on with life. Alabama has benefitted from a coincidentally weaker conference schedule for a couple years now. C'est la vie.

Can everybody schedule Tennessee?

Just don't count non divisional games in the standings when determining who should go to Atlanta
If team A runs through their division but loses to 2 teams in the other division, they shouldn't be left out

Agreed. It's starting to not feel like the east is in the same conference as LSU
play once every 6 ..and once every 12 away?

Bending over backwards to keep two annual matchups that only involve 4 teams.

I can't speak for every LSU fan, but my problem with the scheduling is we have to play in Gainsville every other year (That city blows) and we only get to play in Athens every 10 years (That city is amazing)...

I'm fine with that. I love Nashville, Vandy fans are always nice when they come to Oxford, and I don't mean to troll but there are certainly more grueling teams to have as your permanent opponent (despite us losing five of the last seven).
I would rather see us play elite East teams like Florida (traditionally) and South Carolina (last year) than Vandy every year. Especially now that I live in Charleston it is bullshite I have to wait until 2025 to see my Rebels play in Columbia. Given the laws of probabilities and my rock and roll lifestyle, it is a safe bet to say I won't live to see 2025.

Why should the fans of 10 other teams give two shits about Alabama-Tennessee and Auburn-Georgia?
Serious question.

Why can't LSU just drop UF as a permanent and rotate everyone in the East?

I honestly think these are not rivalries and that the schools do not give a shite. Anyways, Vanderbilt is getting a lot better so they aren't the pushover they used to be, if that's what you mean.

They don't. They care about their own teams. And it is in the best interest of every team but LSU, USCe, TAMU, and UF (who still wants to keep the permanent games) to keep the permanent cross-divisional games as is.

Do you honestly think that Vandy is going to be able to move up into UGA, UF, or USCe's league and be able to sustain it for the long term?

They don't need to move up into that category to change Ole Miss' attitude about the matchup. All they need to do is beat Ole Miss consistently.
Vanderbilt has won 6 of the last 9. They won three in a row from 2010-2012. The future is now, man, and it ain't pretty for Ole Miss because their easy win isn't anymore. After Ole Miss' win last year (their first win over Vandy since 2010), Hugh Freeze admitted to ESPN that "We stole one tonight." LINK

No. Nothing short of a 13 game all SEC schedule will be fair. And then the rest of the country would bitch that we a scared to play outside the SEC. Besides, if it were fair, football would be more boring, like baseball.

Please tell me you're joking. So the way to better their W/L record is to switch Vandy out with the likes of UGA/UF/USCe/UT/MIZZOU? The only team that will perennially be worse than Vandy for the long term will possibly be UK.
