Will A&M's offensive production this year invalidate JFFs GOAT status?

When the Ags lead the SEC in total offense yet again this year, will that knock JFF out of GOAT SEC QB for you, since he's replaceable?

Cam Newton invalidates JFF as the GOAT

Yep. Aggies will fall off the map & Sumlin on the hot seat in 2 years

I'm going to say no - no one will have another season like JFF's 2012 campaign.
Last year will be a more even comparison to anyone else going forward - expect to see similar passing production to possibly better.
Johnny was such an out of the box player it won't be a true comparison going forward. Unless Kyler Murray is as extemporaneous as JFF. I think he'll play within the offense more. He's got great dual threat skills.

Yea Cam is better than JFF in my opinion. But Cam didn't win it all on his own either, Fairley was essential to that title run down the stretch.

Don't think that answers the question sport

I agree on 2012. He tore apart the SEC record books

Not to hate on Aggieland b/c you are one of the better Aggie posters, but Cam is tGOAT - he has the hardware and conference title while Johnny Nosecandy has merely a Twitter.

Who knows? One thing we do know is A&M needs to get their shite together on defense or seasons like 2013 will be a pretty regular occurrence.

Sumlin will always be near or at the top in offensive production... JFF or no JFF...
...and near the bottom in defense.

No, Manziel was electrifying due to his footwork, something Allen lacks. A&M will probably lead the league in offense like you say, but if Allen is sitting in the pocket dinking and dunking all day, it won't be as exciting as watching Manziel. You will still score a lot of points though.

The question is flawed since it's clear CAM is SEC GOAT.
Hell, even Tebow got the hardware.
Any QB under Sumlin is going to put up ridiculous numbers, however not all of them will likely be the "social media whore" that is Johnny.

This.
A&M will be you know.....A&M

Cam is GOAT, and I'd probably put Tebow ahead too. Whatever A&M does from here on out will not taint Johnny's legacy, most can admit he was a phenomenal player.

JFF was the most exciting QBs to watch in SEC, but GOAT he was not.

Johnny's numbers weren't just ridiculous, they were the best two seasons in SEC history. And anyone who watched his games knows that Johnny wasn't a "system QB". Unless you mean "Johnny's system".
To be perfectly honest, we still really haven't seen how "Sumlin's system" will work in the SEC.

Y'all keep saying Cam but JFF had more yards passing in fewer games than Cam and more rushing TDs and almost as many total rushing yds in fewer games (higher per yard and per game averages). Also JFF was younger. I'll take JFF over Cam who played on a better overall team in their respective heisman seasons.

Wait, JFF played in more games than Cam. Cam was only a starter for 1 season in the SEC.

JFF is not the GOAT SEC QB.
The Ags offense will be one of the best in the SEC every year that Sumlin is the coach, and the QB will put up big numbers. The Ags will typically end up with a similar record to the last two years.
