quote:

Jackson had very positive things to say about Liggins and how his improvement has been from a fitness standpoint. If there was an award given out each year, Jackson said Liggins would be at the top of the list. “I would say since January, he has made the biggest improvement on the team,” Jackson said. “He didn’t come in very good shape. He was heavy. He was working hard early, but struggling. He’s done a great job of getting in shape. He’s still heavy; he’s a big man and will always be a big man. He’s 290, but when he walks around with his shirt off, he’s proud. He’s good looking. He may have lost 15 pounds, but it looks like he lost 40. He’s always had lower body strength, and upper body is getting there.”

Yea that will be probably what's best. I just am afraid that we will need him more this year. Our OL next year is going to salty and we return all our RB's. Wilkins and Judd will be bigger/stronger. I am sick of this bullshite weight we are given. He gets to OM they say he's 315. They say in the spring he's 290. After the spring we hear was actually 310. Freeze says he's 280. Paul says 290.

I'm anxious to see what he could do if he continues to improve his upper body strength. I agree with you about potentially needing him more this year.

I like the idea of giving him more time in PJ's S&C program and finding out where he can help us the most once he's in the best shape possible.

I'd trust PJ over anyone else.. And if he does weigh 290 now then you can count on him losing at least 10 more lbs between now and the Boise game.

I think he can help us at TE this season... We get 4 years to play 3... Put him out there... He's a really tough matchup for a LB at 280.

RS may be best, but I think he plays. I think we need him to play
