Lewis is a HUGE pickup. He'll be able to come in and probably start next year at DE, especially if he enrolls in January.

If Durant committed, that mean he took the offer and accepted the possibility that he might redshirt his first season with us. He has 3 yrs to play 2, and we made him aware that RS'ing his 1st year could be an option, since our 2 Deep at LB has a bunch of Soph's right now.

Lewis is 6-4, 271 and can run.

HUGE pick-up for us....Lewis is a 5*-rated JUCO DE, per Scout. SEC bettah get at us while the gettin' at us is good! In 2015 we'll have all those LBs plus Allen-Williams and Durant (tho he'll most likely RS for '15), and a possible two-deep at DE of Shamiek Blackshear, Marquavius Lewis, Dante Sawyer, and Arden Key. A THREE-DEEP including Darrius English and whoever else (Dexter Wideman???) is also a possibility.

I heard that Coach Ward is thinking of toying with a 6-3-2 scheme starting in 2015. Two DTs and 4 DEs!! Opponents will be averaging 15 pass attempts a game, and 15 QB sacks allowed....
