If I have to choose between titles or having super bowl MVPs, I'm going with super bowl MVP everytime.

Joseph Addai had a better game in Super Bowl XLI than Peyton Manning did

Um..
Just the greatest safety of all time at Arkansas and in the NFL.
Stephen Dennis Atwater (born October 28, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois) nicknamed "Smiling Assassin" is a former American football player who spent most of his career playing free safety for the Denver Broncos. Atwater and Dennis Smith made up a Broncos secondary that was known for their ferocious hits on opposing players. He was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Super Bowl champion.

Read the controversy how he single handily won the Super Bowl and got passed over. It's the reason The Sporting News wrote many articles about it.
Political bullshite.

You don't have to convince me, John Elway is my favorite athlete of all time so I followed the majority of Atwater's career. That Denver defensive backfield with him, Crockett, Darrien Gordon etc was nasty.
Super Bowl MVP is generally some of the laziest voting anyway. Occasionally they get it right (Terrell Davis for example) but more often than not they just say frick it and vote for the QB, especially if it's a Manning (though Eli was definitely deserving in the second SB)

No. Atwater (8 pro bowls, 155 starts) Jake (5 pro bowls, 125 starts) Jake was a darn good player (in the old NFL days) just not as good as Atwater.
Atwater would kill you while Jake would steal the pass.
1,1800 tackles (25 interceptions) vs 45 interceptions.
This Razorback was just making 260 lb NFL running backs look like high school players. LINK
