These were suggested by a bunch of people on here so I picked a pair up today.

Saw there were a few pricier top of the line running shoes and wondered how these compared to those. These are my first pair of Asics.

(And, yes, I'm aware everyone thinks these are ugly. I like ugly shoes. I think they are as frick, and as a shorter than average, sci-fi watching, poorly closeted metrosexual, y'all should cut me some slack, support Stacked's pimp hand and wish for it to be strong.)

Got them for $99 with free shipping. I've been looking ever since the thread a couple months ago and hadn't found them cheaper than that.

I'm looking for some new ones myself for walking/hiking. My New Balances have seen better days and the version I have they've discontinued.

I was probably one of the guys who recommended them. They are great shoes,,,

Mine look like this

I would not wear the ugly gold ones.

They look fine.

I don't run often. But when I do, I'm wearing Asics.

I think I had the first answer to that thread with "Asics, Asics, asics".

How have they treated you?

Just did 2 miles yesterday in a pair 2 years old and they're still solid.

Thanks, bro, and thanks all of y'all for the recommendation. I won't be able to give them a test run for a few more days but I'm pretty happy with the reputation these things carry with them.

I prefer Sidi's.

Did they make you faster?

speed is all that matters..

I stick with Nike due to a high arch but Asics are great shoes.
