I agree. Waste of people's time and money.

The take a picture with the kid every month with his "month" onesie on with all of his "accomplishments" on a board.

The only thing that annoys me more are the new moms who post about how they're "doing the most important job in the world"

Gender neutral birthday parties for pre-pubescent children meant to not encourage the child to take on stereotypical gender identities as a child. Boys having tea parties, girls wearing boys bathing suits, shite like that. Yes, it's a thing.

I can't see anyone besides potential grandparents showing up to these things. Do these people honestly believe anyone gives a shite about the sex of their child?

Yes unfortunately because the girl's friends act like they give a shite.

This shite pisses me off to no end. The people who get mad at parents for buying their boy a blue shirt with a monster truck toy instead of something pink with flowers need to jump off a cliff.

Im an old fart, so I didn't know about this shite. Way stupid in my book. Quit making such a big deal -- anybody can make a kid. It is what you do with them after they arrive on this earth that counts. And that doesn't require social media

I just want to know what happened to just taking pictures of your kids doing whatever the hell they were doing. None of this posed shite. I'm over manufactured kiddie selfies.

I can understand grandparents and immediate family getting excited but to have a damn party is ridiculous.

We're having one. It's as good an excuse to drink as any, at least for the husband.

im sorry, but Im thinking it is time you left Betadom and took control. Just tell people - "hey, we are having a ______" No party or drama required.

This is one of the things wrong with our country right now! Everybody wants their life to be a reality show. fricking A!
Do I remind you of Grand Torino yet? Hell Im only 58

I'll say we have taken every month pictures but just with a sticker and no board or any lame shite like that. We certainly don't post them on social media because its for us to see how he's grown and we know nobody else really cares.

The most annoying fad besides gender reveals(which we both agreed is retarded) is the smash cake at one year old birthday parties. It really pisses me off watching a kid smear cake everywhere. We won't be having one and will be celebrating his first like real Americans by watching ole miss beat auburn in Oxford.

Dammit DMagic.

In all seriousness, the concept itself doesn't bother me as much as the "TWO MONTH PICTURE COMING GUYS" countdown to said picture on social media.
