So what is the opinion here: hoping for a Falcons win or a Falcons loss? Given that a Falcons win means a Division title and a playoff appearance but a loss means Smith is gone and we likely pick in the top 15, if not the top 10.

Win and hope for some magic in the playoffs.

Falcons win today and proceed to win shoot outs on their way to their first super bowl victory...ESPN will do a 30 for 30 and everything...rise up!!#

Ehh.. I would like to see them make the playoffs. I mean its pretty inevitable that they'll get demolished once they're in, but dammit some part of me still wants to see them make it.
On the other hand, a solid draft pick and a new head coach wouldn't be the worst consolation prize..Idk.
I think Smith is gone anyway unless they make a run in the post season which is improbable.

Very excited Sjax isn't playing. Hopefully we can knock a few of cams pearly whites out as well. Finish off the other part of his back as well.

Neither will be of quality with TD calling the shots. The root cause is the lack of talent, he has made so many errors it is unbelievable and while Smith takes the heat, he is no where to be seen. That pussy.
I detest that guy. He is not worth a shite, not a standup guy and talks more corporate bullshite than consultants I have worked with.
frick TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rapoport also reported that "the Falcons retained a search firm in the event they also fire general manager Thomas Dimitroff, per a source close to the situation."
Sounds like Dimitroff hours are numbered.

Would you hire Harbaugh and give him total control ? At the least, let your next HC have a say in your next player personnel guy.

I would but I don't think Arthur would go along with that, he likes to play with his little toy too much to not have any input on decisions...

Wouldn't be against it but blank doesn't work that way
