Sounds like a hell of a nice place to visit. I'm sure Georgia fans would have really enjoyed themselves. Oh well....... There's always 2043 or whenever the next UGA Arkansas game is...
Thanks a lot Little Rock Chamber of Commerce! Scum.

Maybe a nice place to visit, but sure wouldn't want to live there.
Jefferson, it hasn't got a fricking thing to do with the Chamber of Commerce, so get off that shite.

What town do you live in, if you don't mind me asking?

Lived in both Bryant and Fayetteville.
And Fayetteville > Bryant
And Fayetteville > Bryant

Bikes, Blues, and BBQs was on there so, you know, not legit. The BBB slogan should be "look at all the counts that visit in October."

Don't know what's 'hilarious' about someone loving where they live and not wanting to go to small section that doesn't even seem like it's a part of Arkansas.
I love to have room to breathe, woods to roam, relatively flat land to walk on, great soil to grow gardens in, driveways that don't go up at a 45 degree angle, lakes and ponds to fish, gracious southern folks, not overrun with Yankee transplants and illegal aliens.
I live in the country, where you can see the stars at night, hear the coyotes howl, watch the deer and rabbits in your yard, catch a 10 lb bass or a 20 (or more) pound catfish and a stringer of slab crappie, all in the same day.
If I need any 'city' things, I am less than an hour from the capitol of Arkansas, the center of government and any shopping or entertainment or medical (including the state's only Level 1 adult trauma center) needs I might have.
If you love living up there, I've got no problem with that. By all means, please do!
As for me, I'm good and perfectly happy where I am.

You left out the part about starting a thread every time NWA gets a new grocery store, theater, gas station, check cashing store, cell phone tower, or the "I'm finally getting sewer utilities at my home" threads.
I love their enthusiasm, but damn, this shits been going on in the rest of the world for over fiddy years.

From the looks of that post, you've never even been north of Alma.

I wouldn't begrudge you loving wherever it is you live; by all means, enjoy yourself and I hope you're happy. But I'm perfectly capable of accomplishing all this and more in a single day in NWA. I've been all over our fair state and I'm not sure anyone could argue against us having the most beautiful scenery up here in the northwest corner.

Yes, I've been north of Alma many times.
Had brother in law in Rogers.
Been to games at Fayetteville.
Spent time at Eureka Springs and Holiday Island.
Ate fried chicken on the shore of Beaver Lake.
Spent a week in the hills on Panther Creek near Japton.
In each case, was glad to get home.

I believe the moving sidewalk is indicative of NWA's status as the economic hub of this state. Maybe the other regions of the state couldn't scrap together enough money for one. Regardless, the plebeians living in the less prosperous regions of the state are welcome to come see it if interested.
