There are some very good games to start the season. First time in 10+ years I will not have a son playing HS football so we can now make some games this year!!! Working on tickets to the Bama vs WV game.

SEC games that stand out to me:

Bama vs WV
LSU vs Wisc
Au vs Ark
UGA vs Clem
TAMU vs USCe
OM vs Boise

All should be fun games to watch. Really looking forward to this season more so than any in recents past, due to having no HS football to tie up my weekends.

Outside of the SEC games was looking at the PAC12 and what a pathetic group of games they start with, yuk.

b10 is bad as well. Actually most all other conferences start with some very crappy games.

SEC SEC SEC !

Congrats on it taking your son 10+ years to finish high school. That's got to be some kind of record.

Man, "wanting" something is never a good enough reason to abandon logic. Convince that girl to go the week before or after. 30 years old...birthday...who cares?

Girls and birthdays. Sheesh. "We have to celebrate your birthday!" I don't think I've given a crap about a single birthday after I turned 16 other than turning 21.

Should be a terrible game. 48-7 or something stupid like that. WVU sucks.

LSU vs Wisc

Interesting game for sure. Wisconsin is rich man's Iowa, who played LSU tough last year.

Au vs Ark

Domination by Auburn

quote:

UGA vs Clem

UGA should easily win, IMO. Clemson lost a lot of talent.

TAMU vs USCe

I think USCe will roll - looking forward to seeing a new TAMU QB tho.

OM vs Boise

More interesting than the Rebtard fanbase would let you believe. I've heard multiple people say that Boise is "bad". LOL.

Funny. Actually I only have two sons so that would be 8 years max (9-12 for each) but I meant football in general not just HS. Plus, I said first time I didn't have "a son" playing HS football. I know you were just trying to be funny and all. Thanks for adding to the topic.

Did your kids play on Saturdays a lot or did it just dominate your weekend in some other way. I'm not a parent so I don't know these things (yet)

i'm thinking he meant he can travel to the games since he wouldn't have to wait until the game friday was over to leave but maybe that's just my better understanding of english.

That whole week leading up to Saturday is going to be like I'm 12 again. CFB HoF grand opening on the 23rd, A&M-USCe opening the SECnetwork/Ole Miss-Boise in ATL on Thursday, BYU-UCONN Friday, and then paradise on Saturday. The a nice hangover cure with Utah State @ Utk Sunday and Miami-Louisville MOnday night for Labor Day.

Yep, you can call me Dad. Tell your mom hi for me, it has been a while. How old are you now? Time flies; did you get the birthday cards I sent?

I've tried. She's acting like turning 30 is one step away from the nursing home. I turned 30 ten years ago I don't even remember what I did.
