because only 2 teams get to go to the NC game. Could this be the end of the bowl system? Just because some coaches cant motivate their players for consolation games? A conundrum? Perhaps...

why would they not want to play in the bowl game? You would lose out on so much money, and the players get so much shite legally from the sponsors.

Because of the additional practice time, exposure for the program and swag for the players.

Are you retarded?

When you go to the NC game, it is all business. In the other bowls, the players have more fun. When you get a chance to go to one of the other bowls, wouldn't you want to have fun?

As stated earlier, as long as bowl sponsors give free stuff to the players they'll be around.

You'll have to excuse Bama fans for not being able to relate to losing a National Title game. I would never believe that your pain was not sincere and surely worse than losing a Sugar Bowl. Yours truly..

Because clearly AU has never lost a bowl game or given less than 100% effort.

Oklahoma beating you last year had nothing to do with lack of effort. They were a better team and better prepared than you.

Under Tubs it was the assumption that we would always play down to our competition so I felt coming away with a win was exceptional.
