I know I've seen alot of LSU fans worried about this. Here's the first official word from MSU about how we're handling it -- so it should give a pretty good reference to how I'd suspect you handle it too.

Basically, we're going to get every home game online for free(assuming we have the SECNetwork) in HD...

First are games produced by ESPN and broadcast on the SEC Network channel available through cable and satellite. Second are games broadcast exclusively on SEC Network+, which will be produced by the schools themselves using their own equipment, talent, etc. The third tier of games are those the SEC Network has not picked up for either of the first two tiers, but that the schools can produce and broadcast themselves as part of SEC Network+, if they so choose.

Wetherbee says MSU’s plan is to broadcast games themselves in the tier three option whenever they aren’t picked by the network initially, meaning nearly all of MSU’s contests in all sports will be available in some fashion to those with a subscription to a cable or satellite service providing the SEC Network.

Basketball and baseball will be heavily featured on the Network, as well, and previously hard-to-watch events like the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover will become easily accessible. Next spring, for example, MSU will be host to the SEC Track and Field Championships and it will be broadcast from campus.

I'll be pretty disappointed if I can't get every game I would have gotten with RebelVision. I really like the early season OOC series.

Same. I was somewhat concerned with how they were going to handle this part. And I'd seen alot of speculation about it.

Glad everything from Dudy Noble will apparently be on the online network...

So will they be using the usual home broadcast setup/announcers? I can understand them providing some season long equipment, but I can't see them fully staffing 14 SEC home games on say a Tues/Wed night.

Each school has/is optimized their current broadcasting systems to be directly compatible with espn/sec network and tied into master control in Charlotte.

Read the entire article. It explains all of this in detail.

ESPN/SECNetwork will have one travelling(tv) crew. The individual institutions are responsible for all of the broadcast equipment being in place and all of the online content. All of the schools are hiring their own staffs to handle these things -- basically in the same way Rebelvision/hailstatetv was handled before. Just in a much more refined and professional manner fit for the ESPN label.

I'm sure Alleva is already looking into how he can charge us for any online games like that in tier 3

That's great news but streaming baseball games, while good, is not better than the coverage LSU had from CST, Cox, etc.

i would hope every game not on ESPN family would be on SEC network for all baseball.

I know i couldnt find a Big10 baseball game during the week. And during weekends, it was 2, it seemed at the most. Where as Pac12 would have other sports and baseball on.

Also have they mentioned how many alternate channels they would have? Big10 and pac12 have over 8.

Exactly. It's all about inventory and all the programs had this past season to get their online streaming capabilities up to speed in preperation for the SECN.
