Is Dan Mullen already the best coach in MSST history?

Was kinda surprised by Murffin's career record at State. 36-28, 4 straight bowls (junky bowls, but he's still 3-1 in them, he's still yet to finish above .500 in the SEC.
Is this the year the Grind returns or is 4-4 the ceiling for Mullen in the SEC?
I foresee the Grinder's season playing out something like this.
S.Miss - W
UAB - W
S. Alabama - close W
LSU - close L
Texas A&M - close W
Auburn - L
Kentucky - L
Arkansas - L
UT Martin - W
Alabama - close L
Vanderbilt - W
Ole Miss - L
6-6 and if they get some breaks 8-4 max.

Just because you said "close L" to Alabama doesn't make this less of a troll post. As much as I don't like State, they're no 6-6 ball club next year.

I would love to see Dan Mullen coach with better talent. I think he's a good coach

Toss up vs. Ole Miss and TAMU. The rest should be wins. 8-4 with a convincing bowl game win which is a good year for State.

I'd be fine with 8-4 tbh. I think this is the year Dan gets a signature win. IMO, I honestly think we take one against Bama/LSU/AU and Lose the other two and then split games between TAMU and OM to give us a 9-3 season.

We've never had this good of a team (depth and talent wise) under Mullen's tenure.
ETA: Egg Bowl 2009 was a signature win.

Sherril had MSU at a point where they were a very scary team on your schedule, heck they were ranked more often than not and managed a division win.
