Stolen topic from TR here. What would you consider "program success" for your team in the next 5 years?

For LSU I'd say win the West 2 out of 5, with one SEC Championship and at least one playoff appearance. Natty would be bonus.

I can agree with this. Saying you need a natty over that stretch to be considered a success is just ridiculous.

Win the west 3 of 5, SEC 2 of 5, playoff appearance 3 of 5, 2 national titles.

You realize that if LSU does not win a national title in the next 5 years, it will be over a decade since Miles or LSU won a title? Is that acceptable to LSU fans? An 11 year national title drought?

I'd like to see our average win total move from 6-7 a year up to 8-9 a year. An appearance in Atlanta would be a nice bonus, but I don't know how realistic that is if we don't do that this year.

Win a natty somehow and I lose my goddamn mind and get banned the frick off this board

As long as he wins 9-10 games year in and year out, the sunshine pumpers will be happy

I think the playoffs are going to be more identified with making Final 4 in Basketball.

Winning the title will be more of who gets hot.
In the past , in the past the team that wins , plays the long season then gets healthy the 4 weeks leasing up to the game. The 7-10 days between will allow for more upsets in the NCG. You'll have a number one seed undefeated get beat by a 2-3 more often , even though they may have been better during the season. This will increase as it expands to 8.

But to answer the question for UGA, couple- three east titles , one or two sec titles , in the playoffs at least once ( can't win it if you ain't in it). But also making one of the other CFP bowls 2-3 times
