HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
1992-1995 (Hughes High school) - Played for a state championship.
1996-2000 (Shiloh Christian) - Won two state championships.
2001-2005 (Springdale High School) - Played for two state championships, won one.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL
2006 (Arkansas) - Won the SEC West.
2007-2008 (Tulsa) - Won Conference USA West both years.
2009-2011 (Auburn) - Won SEC West, SEC and National Championship.
2012 (Arkansas State) - Won Sun Belt Conference.
2013 (Auburn) - Won SEC West, SEC and played for National Championship.
So far in Gus Malzahn's career, high-school and college, every team he has coached for (no matter what position) has eventually played for a title of some sort. From Hughes, Shiloh Christian and Springdale high-schools to Arkansas, Tulsa, Auburn, Arkansas State and Auburn again - every team has been in the race for some type of title.
Strangely enough, since Gus Malzahn left Arkansas, they haven't won the SEC West. Since Gus Malzahn left Tulsa, they have only won the Conference USA West once. After Gus Malzahn left Arkansas State, they were unable to win the Sun Belt. The year after Gus Malzahn left Auburn, they had arguably their worst season ever...then he returned and completely revitalized the program.

Not only is Malzahn a better coach, he's also a fraction of Bert's size!

This cannot be understated.

Scores with a gimmick Offense and then moves on before teams are able to adjust.

Got outcoached and lost in 2000 State Championship game (with Rhett Lashlee at QB) by my little old alma mater. By a run first, real american football offense.
Rison ended the Saints streak with a combination of solid defense, ball-control offense and key turnovers. "(Running) is our philosophy," Rison coach Clay Totty said. "Thats what we live and die on. The things we did to get us here were going to be good enough for us to win. The kids executed real well."

YEs, its obvious that he is the reason for success based on the failures after he leaves.

He's a great coach. Period. No other way around. And he proved it definitively by beating Saban.

Then I think you mean it can not be overstated, right?
