With the season just around the corner, I will take any news I can get. And I am tired of reading about another arrest.

combination of Kolton Houston (6'5, 280), Greg Pyke (6'6, 326), center David Andrews (6'2, 295), Mark Beard (6'5, 300), and John Theus (6'6, 298). With the exception of Pyke, this isn't a group that's going to plow straight ahead like the LSU crowd. It will thrive more when having Hall lead Gurley to the perimeter around stretch blocking or against the grain to the cutback on inside zone.

Really, you think we will be the weirdo bunch resurrecting the old fullback position?

I'm not against it if it helps the offense just haven't heard of such thoughts before.

If we're not getting the "push" like this article suggests then Hall will need to give Gurley and Co the space they need (which isn't much mind you)

I really do love badass fullback play. That toss sweep on the first play of the clemson game where hicks took out two Clemson guys on to clear a lane on the edge was a thing of beauty.

That opening game is going to be really tough for us. It wouldn't shock me if they beat us...

What do you know about their team? Every good thing you can think of about ours, they have a legimiate argument against it. I don't trust our O-Line against their experienced 7 man front.

Their D is gonna be better game 1... Our O is gonna be better game 1, I for one am optimistic about our OL. 5-7 guys with a lotta playing time & in at least their 3rd year (which for OL seem to be when they get "it")in the program. We have home field & revenge on our side...

I don't see it as a 17-20pt blowout but I think we win it by 8-10pts...

This. We scored 35 on their D at their place last year, without our top receiver and Gurley missed significant time. We'll be at home with a (hopefully) decent o-line. Beasley will make plays, but if we can limit turnovers, I think we'll score close to the same number. Without Boyd and Watkins, not to mention being on the road, I think our front seven can pressure Stoudt enough to be the difference, IMO.

I see a tough, "grind it out" type of game. Something like a 24-20 or 21-17 which could go in favor of any side. I don't see how UGA is 9-10 points better (which Vegas is predicting) than Clempsux. I hate fricking clempsux more than any other team on the schedule due to the fact I have to listen to their cocksucking fans orgasm over Suck by Dick Beasley every day.

But there's no denying they haven't recruited well on the defensive side of the ball the past 3-4 seasons in an attempt to even out the playing field with USCe. If you, or any other UGA fan think we're gonna just line em' up and run it down their throat, you're in for a rude awakening.

Georgia will have to be able to protect HM long enough to get the ball into our play-makers hands. He doesn't have the arm strength to stretch the field like AM did. His comfort zone are the dink and dunks, 10-15 yard slant patterns. If we can't run the ball on Clempfrickingsucks, WE WILL NOT WIN.

Well yeah. The same can be said for any team if they let the other defense make them one dimensional. I like our chances with the off season adjustments.

Running the ball early and often will be very important. As long as Gurley is healthy, he will find running room, even if only a crease. If they load the box it'll open the screen and short passing game. Gonna be a tough game, but the fact that it's in Athens is a huge advantage.

Clemson had their best team in 20 yrs. we played them in Death Valley. On the 1st offensive play (an 80 yard TD mind you) we lost our top offensive playmaker and 50% of Gurley. Plus we had a youthful D with Gradammit at the helm. With all that we held the ball with a chance for the W.

Trust me. Clemson lost WAY more than we did. Our front 7 is better than theirs. We will win this game.

I don't know who these other guys are, but I certainly didn't know who Merrit was until he suddenly popped up on the depth chart. Hopefully they are willing to put their facemask into someone.

The alternative would be single back formations, relying on using Hicks, Rome, etc. to create space.
