I believe that Florida will sweep the East for a couple reasons: They get Driskel back. Say what you will about him, the kid played well in 2012 and was off to a pretty good start in 2013 until he got hurt. I think this is the year he puts it all together.

I also look for Kelvin Taylor to have a break-out year as well, after a nice Freshmen campaign last year.

Add those guys in with an OL that will start two seniors and three juniors and I think UF will be stout up front. If the LB's continue to develop when paired a stout front led by Dante Fowler and solid back end led by VHIII, this defense has the makings of another top 5 caliber defense.

I think that South Carolina loses a ton with Connor Shaw being gone. The guy was a gamer. Unless Hutson Mason proves us wrong, teams will be able to load the box to slow down UGA and TG3.

Mizzou is the wild card here as they could either pick up where they left off last year, or experience that post-successful season slump that all of our teams have experienced at one point or another.

I also think UF splits between Alabama and LSU, I simply chose Alabama to win because they get the Gators at home while LSU has to travel to the Swamp.

I see UF matching up with Auburn in the SECCG but ultimately being one of the first teams left out of the playoff after losing the SECCG to the Tigers and finishing the regular season at 10-3.

I stated that it could go either way. Simply gave Bama the edge because it's a home game and LSU has to travel. Could easily be the other way around.

You use this in an example as a good thing. I am pretty sure even the most loyal of Gator fans are nervous about that. Roper should be the redeeming quality, IF he can help Driskel reach his potential.

Other than homerism, what makes you think that USC and UGA will be better than UF in the upcoming year?
Serious question as I have no dog in the fight. I like what Florida brings back, although UGA's defense will be stout. I just think it is tough breaking in a new QB, which is one of the reason's I have tempered my expectations for Alabama this year.
