I honestly have no clue as to how they're supposed to look this year. I'm taking this at a shot in the dark:

Wofford W
@ Tulane (Toss Up) L
Georgia Southern (Toss Up) W
@ Virginia Tech L
BYE
Miami L
Duke (Toss Up) W
@ North Carolina L
@ Pittsburgh L
Virginia (Toss Up) W
@ NC State (Toss Up) W

Clemson L
BYE
@ UGA L

5-7 with an "upset" loss @ Tulane

I have them with 5 Toss Up games, with 4 of them being wins. If they lose all 5 of their toss up games, they are looking at a 1-11 season.

4-8

Duke still has the same coach right? Yeah Tech will lose

Wofford W
@ Tulane W
Georgia Southern W (close game)
@ Virginia Tech L
BYE
Miami L
Duke W
@ North Carolina L
@ Pittsburgh W
Virginia W
@ NC State W
Clemson L
BYE
@ UGA L (20+ point loss)

7-5 regular season (the ACC is bad, yall) followed by, I hope you're sitting down for this, a bowl loss.

Same as it ever was, same as it ever was...

They'll beat Tulane and I think they'll split the 4 game stretch of Miami through Pitt for another 7-5 season of mediocrity. They go 5-7 and ol' ugly with the high school offense is gone, and I for one like him right where he is.

I could see them starting 3-0 and all their fans thinking this is the year, and they lose 7 of their last 8 and their fans are just as pleased

That's the real question here: will a 7-6 season with another bowl loss and another embarrassment in Athens get jowls fired?

His buyout is extremely high, but don't under estimate how tired Tech fans are of losing the last two games of the year, every damn year.

1-12 in their last 13 vs. UGA
1-8 in their last 9 bowl games.

Not all Johnson's fault of course, I'm just saying they might be desperate enough to bite the bullet on his buyout.

Be sweet to see Southern beat Tech. If for no other reason than to have a new rivalry in the state.

Another year of complete irrelevance with an irrelevant coach taking them one year further down the road of triple option oblivion.

While they suck it up and ask for more.

That's not the easiest of schedules they have their. I'll say 4 wins is the lowest they can finish, 8 wouldn't be unheard of but they will have to play out of their minds.

My best guess is 5-7, losses to VaTech, Miami, Duke, UNC (go to hell), Taters, and UGA plus one more (Pitt or the Wahoos).

I'd like to see tech go 6-5 coming into the UGA game, but we'll see. I'm ambien-high right now.

Just want to note, we have owned Duke, UNC, and NCSt for the last decade. There is nothing going on with any of those teams to suggest this season will be any different. We also have a good chance of taking Clumpson at home. We don't deserve any faith in the VT and UM games, but I won't be shocked if we take one of those. Pitt? Puh-lease. As for our showdown with you dwags ... this year feels a bit like 08. I'm thinking 9-3 this year against a VERY weak Coastal.
