Tough to watch. Was unaware of Stallings' relationship with his special needs son Johnny, who passed away. New perspective on Stallings. Seems a great guy/father.

In the 80s/early 90s Stallings was all over TV with his son. Very inspiring relationship he shared with his son.

You should read his book, telling about his coaching career and his close relationship with Johnny. He tells about how he cried when Johnny was born, but later said that he wouldn't have wanted him any other way. It is so touching now that when people mention Johnny, his face still lights up and he loves to talk about him.
He has often said how Johnny never played a sport, but he has more fields and things named after him than most athletes.
