Because of my other thread on iron sights for my AA blemished rifle and your helpful responses, I feel like I owe pictures and links to the rifle(buds still has a few left)
Link to carbine:
Buds Adams Arms carbine 5.56
The mid is still available but I think you have to be a buds VIP member.
There was one scratch on a takedown pin. That's it, no other blemishes. I highly suggest one of these if you are in the market. You can't beat the price on a piston system AR.
I decided not to buy the buddies trijicon. It was beat to hell, more problems than I wanted to put money into. I ended up doing what I wanted from the start. Fixed iron sights. I went with a set of Daniels Defense front and rear. I had to put one click of windage on it to zero the rifle. I like them.
Its nothing spectacular, I have kept all of the stock furniture thus far. The stock is going to be replaced soon. But that might be about it. I am tired of seeing railed hand guards on everything. If I do go beyond changing the butt stock it will be with all walnut stuff because I think that looks cool and moderately unique in the AR world. Here it is:
627 on the rifle and scored the DD fixed front and rear for 78. Just a hair over 700 complete and ready to go.

Is the barrel similar to the Colt LE6920 model?

Same length and collar I believe. Both are also 6 groove 1:7 twist. But the colt is Chrome lined, the Voodoo barrel on mine is 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel and Melonited inside and out. It's supposed to get the accuracy of non-chrome lined barrels and a substantially longer life than a chrome lined.

Haha, I'm Buddhist actually. As far as political affiliation I would have to say libertarian. I am white. I love all colors of people until they do things that bad people do. That last nugget of info is the part that has me keep a loaded mag of Hornady TAP in my night stand. Hopefully the sound of a AR15 being charged will be enough to ward off un-friendlies in my home. I would prefer not to shoot anybody, of any color.

Just get a cheap pump Mossberg. The sound will have a much more profound effect on any intruders.

Its true purpose is for coyotes, raccoons, a few foxes, and the occasional bobcat.
