I'm thinking about going somewhere tropical for 4-6 days around Christmas this year and I'm trying to figure out where I should go, and where I should look online to book your trip. I want to go somewhere all inclusive and would prefer to have the airfare covered with the trip (I'm assuming it's cheaper that way). I would prefer an adult only resort and good fishing is always a plus Y'all got any recs?

Any place you'd recommend? What about a cruise? Are they worth a shite? I figured I'd be better off going to an all inclusive resort because a cruise will cost me out the arse with booze.

Stick with beer wherever you go.. or straight shots of tequila

Taking the wife.

Beer is my drink of choice. I'll shoot Patron on occasion, if I'm having a drink vs shooting tho its a nice scotch.

Cheapcarribbean.com is a good site. We just got back from a long weekend in Punta Cana and it was pretty good....and affordable as far as all inclusive trips go. There are a number of resorts there to choose from.

Do your research though because "all inclusive" means different things to different people and the resorts don't advertise that you may not be able to get top shelf booze at all bars...or at all.

I second CheapCarribbean.com. Good site with a large variety
In the Caribbean area and generally lower prices on packages than Expedia or Priceline.

I think the Dominican Republic has the best value for all inclusives. Good fishing there too.

Dominican is on my list. Looking like cheap Caribbean is the way to go. They have a program with my credit card company that I get triple points too. I've actually seen the rum specials up to 10x points. I figured airfare would be cheaper if I left Christmas day but it looks like the day after is cheaper for some reason. I thought that's when most people would be flying
