Without Houston Nutt, would Arkansas be dead last in the SEC historically?

Please answer in complete sentences, citing specific examples when making your argument.

2009 called and wants its flame back.

As far as I can tell they are tied with a bunch of other teams for dead last at the moment. Is there a number lower than zero SEC titles I'm not aware of?

Danny Ford made it to the SECCG and Petrino made it to the Sugar Bowl. That alone is more than what Ole Miss, State, Vandy, Kentucky and South Carolina have done in the last twenty years.
So in the expansion era, the answer would easily be no.

I believe the team that has never been to Atlanta is last.

Do conference championships before we landed on the moon count?

Then the answer is no. And the specific example is Ole Miss' existence since they have never gone to Atlanta.

I don't really follow Arkansas football but didn't Gus get them in the SEC championship game?

Someone must have forgotten about those BACK 2 BACK COTTON BOWLS, brother.
You were "not far off" from making a decent argument, though, I'll give you that.

State made it to Atlanta homes. We beat you to get there.

Arkansas has also played in a BCS game during the expansion era. State hasn't.
