I called to set it up. I already have the Sports Tier One package (or whatever they call it). The rep told me it is part of that package and there would be no additional monthly charge.

I have a feeling they will carry it. Any cable provider, in the south, will lose business to a competitor if they don't carry it.

So what the hell am I supposed to do in DC? I better not get shafted out of the SEC Network.

I would call them. You may have to pay extra since you are not in the SEC footprint. (or whatever BS they call it) Since Comcast is carrying it, I don't see how you won't not be able able to get it.

Same, though I may switch on them. I'm getting sick of them raising my rates and taking away channels.

Really? Mine has been the same for two years. Hopefully it doesn't go up much after the two year thing this fall. If so I'm with you, I'll probably switch

As part of its agreement with ESPN, Comcast will also make SEC Network available on its digital platforms, including the Xfinity TV Go app and website, WatchESPN and SECNetwork.com, with the ability to watch the network live and on-demand any time on any device.

Sports Tier One package (or whatever they call it)

Yes, that's it. I think I pay like $7 a month extra for it.

Does Auburn have any other cable besides Charter?

I read somewhere yesterday that WOW! in Madison was for sure going to get it before the Arkansas game, but that it'd be a $2 increase across the board because of the purchase or something like that.

Yea, I signed up two years ago and had a 1 year initial sign up deal. After that it went up to the regular monthly amount, which was expected. We have pretty much every channel, sports, movies, etc. This year, it has jumped an additional $30 or so a month, and they've removed a couple movie channels. Probably going to call and threaten to leave and see what happens.
I really like them otherwise. They are 10x better than charter, that's for sure.

I upgraded to the triple play package almost three years ago. I get everything except two premium movie channels. (can't remember the name of that particular one) They told me after year one my bill would go up $20......they did not lie bout that.

Yea, I knew it would go up after the first year. Apparently, it will keep going up every year after that. They failed to mention that part and failed to send me notice. Not a pleasant phone call they will get.

Damn. Yea we just have the normal channels/HD package plus the HS Internet. I would def call try to sway them your way.

Agreed. Charter blows. I have no compliants with the internet and service so far. I've rarely had to call them for anything.

I would call Comcast. I have had the rep's lie to me before. I am just relaying what one told me this morning. I am going to call back around the beginning of August and see what kind of story I get then.

I just read something that said its part of the digital starter package (if you're in a SEC state) which would mean if you have the basic Comcast package then you get the SEC Network.
