Seems aTm was the original favorite and still holds the crystal ball, but Alabama is picking up momentum following a great unofficial visit as well as an official planned soon after. Charles Power is getting close to putting a pick in to Alabama for him. Let's see how he feels after the visit wears off.

He was a Aggie lean before the opening and after it he was a heavy lean. Maybe Bama made up ground, but people close to him have said he will be an Aggie.
It doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway. Things change quickly in the recruiting game and anything can happen.

Anything can happen but it is going to be hard to pull either Malik Jefferson or Sheffield away from A&M. We have led a long time, we are far closer (99 miles vs 630), and they have a bond with Dylan Mack, Justin Dunning, and Kyler Murray. Anything can happen when you are talking about teenage recruits though and certainly if A&M sucks this year all bets are off.

Kendall Sheffield will most likely be an Aggie. Malik seems to be the harder get.

I see both as solid Aggie leans but could easily go elsewhere. Anytime you have 5*'s that have offers from everyone in the country they are going to look at all their options because they are getting courted by everyone.

When Sumlin comes to their game in the swaggercopter, guys commit.
A&M DB recruiting about to pick up strongly due to more aggressive playing style taught by Coach Terry Joseph.

Yeah he's an Aggie lean. What about Holton Hill and Roney Elam? Aren't both of those guys considering Texas, A&M, and LSU?

Don't feel great about Hill but I think Elam is an Aggie. Hill seems to be all over the board and is at the Texas event this weekend but I think his recruitment stretches out for a while. At some point there are only so many DB's A&M can take and you still have Boyd and Sheffield leaning to A&M.
Sheffield is the one I really want and if we can get 2 of the others I'd be very happy.

I feel confident we get Shef & Elam. I think Boyd too, but not as confident. I think we miss on Hill. It all might come down to who commits first. After a few commit then other schools can start to use the, "there is too much comp, too many CBs to beat out. Come here instead."

Sheffield loves track... Sumlin needs to work something out with the track coach and Shef is probably an Ag. Malik is an Ag with any defensive improvement
