750K+...and yes, some do. Rooms for rent are available in houses nearby.

Is this not true at your school?

Yeah, there's a surprising amount for sure.

The few people I knew who had places in those Crescent condos shown above were absolutely loaded. You have to buy them, and they're around 200k. Easily the nicest condos i've been to in the area

This thread needs to be scaled down to dorms. I could present you a million and one different living options in Athens, ranging from measly to holy frick.

I posted on campus housing and common student apartments.. just because your graddad owns a balling house around campus and lets you stay in it doesnt make that "student housing"

Ok, I'll make it easy for you guys. What do you have in the way of apartments or condos that tops this...

...a rooftop pool with a view of the campus?

As far as dorms go, many LSU dorms are Residential Colleges.

quote:

If LSU appeals to you, but you’re also attracted by the advantages of a smaller college or university, residential colleges are the perfect option for you. Join a residential college and have the best of both. Residential colleges make LSU feel smaller, as you live, study, and explore with a smaller group of students who share similar interests as you. Don’t forget that year after year, students who participate in a residential college have higher GPAs and graduation rates and are more likely to continue on to their next year of college.

Discipline-Based Residential Colleges

Agriculture
Business
Engineering
Human Sciences & Education
Global Connections for Humanities & Social Sciences
Mass Communication
Science

Interest-Based Residential Colleges

Career Discovery
Herget Freshman Experience
Honors House

LSU

Is this true of the dorms at your school?
