so is this gonna be a weakness? Any clue how the punter and kicker will perform. Was a strength last year not having kick returns (except FSU) and the awesome punts.

Punter, for the most part, should be fine.
Kicker is the one that is more likely to be shakey, just because it takes a smaller error that will still be felt.
Return units should be fine.

Who are we thinking will be returning punts? I hope it's Therezie.

I'm worried about Punter the most. The long hang time and balls downed inside the 5 is going to be hard to match.

I'd love to see Marcus Davis, Truitt, or Jonathan Jones back there.

Bray and Therezie were atop that position post spring practice.

I want to see Truitt with the ball in his hands some way. I think is one of if not the most electric players we got in this class.

What type of punter do we currently have? Air time or distance?

highly touted as recruit?
Good distance and hang time. lacks consistency like all young punters.
He had some good ones in the spring game iirc.

Hutchinson looks shakier than Carlson. Hard to tell how a Kicker will perform in real game situations, but Carlson is more talented than Parkey was.

As mentioned before, I want Truitt. He's got great acceleration, good ability to make a guy miss, and great top end speed. I think he could easily be a threat to take one to the house every time he gets the ball in his hands returning punts/kicks.

Yea, and the good thing about that is though, most of his punts looked like he mishit them, but still had good numbers. I think he will be fine once he settles in.

If there is one area that will need great focus in the August practices its the kicking game. Replacing seniors is difficult. I think we will miss Steven Clark more than Parkey. Clark was a fricking assassin when it came to flipping the field.

Clark was phenomenal, especially in The Great IB pinning Alabama on the 1 in the 3rd and 4th quarter twice.
Of course we gave up a 54 pass on the 2 and 99 yard TD pass on the 1.

Freshman - probably not the best at this position yet. We are a Natty contender.

Punt returner probably Bray and I could see Cory Grant at kick return with Jones. Would like to see as a wildcard Coates return kicks because of pure speed. Would remind me of Triston Davis back there.
