From their scout board.

quote:

no way would we storm the field. it will not be that big of a win, frankly. LSU isn't even top ten this year. Many expect us to win. It would be a great win to start the season, but certainly not worth of a field storming, particularly when it is not even our home stadium.

No way we storm the field

I predict a slow start by the Badgers. I think we might be down by double digits at half.

I think we may get a break in the 2nd half and start adjusting to the speed/toughness of the game better to make it closer in the 2nd.

We have a ton of question marks and they are going to run their AP-like frosh with that veteran OL against our new front 7.

Gonna be a fun challenge- looking forward to it

quote:

I'm not predicting a win, but Wisconsin is ranked higher than LSU in a couple, if not a few, different preseason publications. Why would Badgers fans storm the field at a neutral site? Why would Badger fans storm the field after defeating a team that many writers feel are pretty even going into 2014?

quote:

1. It's hilarious how people keep picking us to lose by more than ten, despite the fact that we haven't done so since 2009. It's bound to happen at some point, but after the last few years, it seems like a terrible bet to make.

2. No, you don't storm the field after a neutral-site game. If teams don't do it for the Rose Bowl or national championship, they certainly aren't gonna do it for an opener.

3. The 2010 OSU game was the first field storm since the Crush. I remember it clearly because I was in the second row of the student section, and after Pryor threw that last pick, there was a noticeable tension among those of us who knew about the crush. It was clear people wanted to rush, but the PA was yelling not to (or you'd be arrested), and security was everywhere. The result was a mass of people descending towards the bottom with nobody leaving. A couple of people tried to run and they were tackled, but one or two got by them. At that moment, security realized they couldn't stop everyone and rightfully let the students through. I got out there pretty quickly and got to congratulate a few of our best players (Lance Kendricks, Aaron Henry, and Kevin Zeitler). It's definitely something I'll never forget.

quote:

Given LSU's lack of experience at QB and WR they may not score more than 17 points total.

quote:

Funny how LSU lost to inferior teams like PSU and Iowa yet this LSU team, half the team is was then is going to beat a UW team that MIGHT lose 2 games?

LOL

BTW, unlike most of your best games, This wont be played in New orleans

I met some Badger fans right after we beat them in the NCAA Tournament. They're very, er, special.

yeah, no way the 10,000 Wisconsin fans in Houston are going to storm the field after beating a top 20 team. not sure what you're getting at.

Arkansas' loss to Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl gave them this kind of confidence.

lulz...that was several years ago and this team will be much better than those teams that lost to PSU and Iowa

lsu will rush for 300+ and win easily...not saying lsu is a number 1 team but wiscy is soft and replacing far too much on defense to keep up

Wisconsin fans need to act like they've been there before, its just LSU.

Now if Ms. State beats LSU, I can see the field being stormed as it should.

I did not read anything that outlandish, honestly.

LSU will not be a Top 10 team week 1

This is exactly what all of this is. Not saying we run away with this game but I don't expect a loss in Houston. Will be very much a home game type atmosphere and I think our young team will want to make a statement.

Wisconsin fans are fricking terrible. Can't wait to smear their pale asses all over Houston then send them back north where they belong

Just because "Wisky" sounds like "Whiskey" doesn't mean you have to make statements that sound like you're drunk.

I think it's going to be a lot like the TCU game last year. It's going to feel like LSU should be up by 30 but it will end up being close

We are 5.5 pt favorites. It wouldn't be some massive upset.
