Turned out to be a girl and we used the name/spelling recommended by the majority here.
She is surprising disinterested in sports at this point (born 7/8/14) but I will make sure she always has a soft spot for Mizzou.

Here is my standard line for new parents:
That little girl is 18 years old, grown up and gone! IT WILL go by just that fast. Enjoy every second because it goes by in the blink of an eye.

Absolutely awesome Garfield!!! I'm one of those that doesn't always see the cuteness in babies (mine included), but she's absolutely adorable and looks so content. Congrats my friend!!!!
