interesting that he spent a huge amount of his time and words talking up his "freshman" and their ability to contribute, ostensibly this year in the game...

and yet if Mizzou suggests anything like even 1 of our freshman might be able to do this it's considered shear crazy talk..

I like Les though, and just wish Gene Hackman will be able to play him at the end of his career, (both of their careers) when his story is made into a movie.

Well obviously, only LSU, Bama and maybe one or two other teams know anything about recruiting a HS kid w/ talent.

Explains why Mizzou has never won an SEC game.

Now back to your regularly scheduled delusion.. (as if you ever left).

not one of your freshman are on the level of a LF7, Dupre, Quinn, or Adams

He spoke of the #1 RB, the #1 LB, 2 of the top WR's, and a QB that wouldn't play if we had a better option but he will have to.

LSU has played over 10 freshman each of the last two years which led the NCAA.

Les has proven himself in the past with his team's freshmen play.

If only someday some teams coach would prove they could make NFLers out of 2 and 3 star guys..

wow, give me a bunch of 5 star guys and I will prevent most of them from falling on their face(even if I have to look the other way when they do lots of dumb things), helluva an achievement there, really, just astounding.

Some guys are better served coming back to school; some guys are better served leaving school. Some players will get drafted close to the projection, some will get drafter later, and some will not get drafted at all. I knew the offensive skilled players were gone, and they should have left.

At first I lol'd thinking about Snake Pliskin.

Then I actually imagined Kurt Russell saying some of the great Miles quotes and it's actually spot on.

Gene Hackman or Kurt Russell
For the hell of it though, the next time you watch the movie "Fargo" (1996) - watch the scene where Jerry Lundergaard goes in to "talk to his boss" in the car dealership, ostensibly about a customer's true coat.
In reality, he just went in the employee lounge to talk to another salesman who is watching a hockey game and asks him for tickets.
The actor who plays that other salesmen looks EXACTLY like Les Miles. He could be his fricking twin.....
