What happened to McAllisters Deli customer service? It's terrible!

Here is my observation from yesterday:

Long line. Customers waiting to be helped.

A few employees gossiping while completely ignoring the waiting line.

A man in a wheelchair is sitting at the back of the restaurant and his wife is at the counter ordering food. She has to yell at him across the restaurant to ask that he wheel himself to the checkout counter to verify his order simply because McAllister employees were to damn lazy to walk over to him to verify his order.

While this lady is yelling at her husband to wheel his handicapped body to the counter, another employee is acting like he's banging his head againt the cash register as if this entire situation is highly annoying to him...and he thinks he's funny too. Eyes rolling. Head shaking. Snickering.

Millenials' care less attitude is a HUGE problem in the workforce, but the responsibility is on the employer to train employees on proper customer service standards. Today's profits are customer service driven. I'm shocked that companies continue to turn a blind eye to customer service trends considering that customer service positively affects the company's bottom line.

Mark my words: I'll never visit another McAllisters Deli again.

You should write a scathing review on some other website, but not here.

It's a cheap deli. You can't expect much.

Don't have any issues with the one where we live, but we don't go there that often.

More likely it's a bad franchise owner.

Perhaps, but this shouldn't be happening at any franchise in Springfield, MO

The only thing good at Mcalisters is the bacon spud. Would go to Newks over Mcalisters any day

I don't know what's on Newk's Italian sandwich that affects me, but I've had it twice and barely made it home in time to get to the toilet both times.

I now stick to their pizzas.

IMO, Newk's has much better service and food.

Newks hasn't made it up to the far north yet. They apparently are in Little Rock and Conway, though. I've heard they make good salads.
