BiG deal. Very ordinary footage. They cuffed him and put him in the squad car after he consented to a vehicle search. The edited video then shows him returning to his car uncuffed and released. If I were his attorney I would raise holy hell that this evidence is released publically before any trial date. I would bet its grounds for dismissal

I love it. Jimmies will be rustled when we're undefeated going into Dec.

Im not a lawyer, but the video seems pretty procedural. Its not like its tainting a supposed jury or anything. Marshall consented to a search. Id say they would question the stop at most, since he consented. But this is more than likely going to get paid and moved on from

Just enter the pretrial program (preferably one that doesn't require a guilty plea to enter) and get it dismissed in 6 months.

No. Seeing dash cam footage is not grounds for dismissal. C'mon.

Getting cuffed while consenting to a search is common procedure. The cop would state as he puts on the cuffs that he isn't under arrest and that he'll uncuff him once he is through with the search.

Safety procedure for the cop so he doesn't crawl into the car then get blindsided by an idiot (not saying NM14 is an idiot, there are crazy people out there that would attack an officer like that)
